The Boondocks
Episode 3...About last night
Things got started off early with "some discipline." The very first thing you see is a spoiled brat wanting candy at the store. The little boy continues to have a fuss about it and breaks stuff, but the mother--with the help of Grandad's (Robert) belt, whips the little boy's ass. (You don't see it, but the reaction of the customers were happy and ignored them.) The early theme of discipline continues with Grandad backslapping Riley, but Huey has to control the wheels. The reason Riley gets backslapped is that the woman, named Cristal, is smitten over Grandad. Both Huey and Riley noticed her as a "sales person," but in a different perspective. In fact, both of the boys realized that she is a HO! Riley directly called Cristal a ho to Grandad, which why Riley got backslapped. (Twice, because Riley used the word HO again!) Anyway, Cristal still trances Grandad, but the boys continued to cause suspicion. So they investigate her. And their suspicions were correct. Later, the pimp (wonderfully voiced by Katt Williams) comes calling for Cristal, and just when the pimp was about to slap her, Grandad was seconds away from whupping the pimp's ass with his belt. He gave the pimp a warning not to touch her. At the end though, Cristal had to run to the pimp's car, which kept going at a fast pace. But the bigger theme of this episode is this: YOU CAN'T TURN A HO INTO A HOUSEWIFE! Yes, that is the message. It is so true. In the world of hip hop and rap, it never fails. Grandad also learned why he can't save a ho! Does the phrase "Captain Save-A-Ho" mean anything to him? Spending all of that money to Cristal and doesn't know it. But the boys realized that, clearly. But Grandad doesn't believe them until that pimp comes knocking at the door. Next time, listen to the boys and learn from that lesson that you can't save a ho! Now the next episode is going to be a trip, especially with a fight upcoming between two old people.
