According to both TV Newser and the New York Times, there are big changes coming to MSNBC. One thing for certain is that both "Hardball" and "Countdown with Keith Olbermann" will clearly stay. It will most likely move the other three show to earlier time slots. Move them to the earlier time slots from 4pm-7pm ET/1pm-4pm PT. Joe Scarbourgh ("Scarbourgh Country") should be moved to 4pm, while Tucker Carlson's show ("The Situation with Tucker Carlson") be moved to the 5pm slot, and Rita Cosby ("Rita Cosby: Live and Direct") would be a perfect fit for the 6pm slot. If I were Dan Abrams, I would be moving these shows because the ratings of that show would not be affected and the primetime programming would be make more room--especially with rumors stating that "Dateline" is going to be more involved at MSNBC.
